Ceremonial Bell XXlX - Spring Edition

$35.00
SOLD OUT

Ceremonial Bell XXlX is a vintage brass bell adorned with embroidered velvet ribbons. It comes in a box wrapped with glassine paper which has been printed with the words “sound of bells”

We ring bells to signify both the ending and the beginning. The sound of a bell bends the poles of time to meet together, and it is here that the serpent takes up its tail in its mouth. With this image we can understand time differently. We can see it not so much on a rigid and linear trajectory, and instead we can attest to its cyclical movements. We can understand that endings naturally precede beginnings. We can also understand that simultaneously the opposite is true.

Ceremonial Bell XXlX measures approximately 2” x 1.75”
